Lyon Apprentice are brothers Adam and Nathan Lyon from Australia's Gold Coast, currently based in Manchester, UK.

Those in the know might recognise the handsome duo from Canvas Sounds labelmates, Fairchild. As if that weren't coincidence enough, they also run the aforementioned label. You could say they are the definition of multi-tasking!

Following the artwork I created for Calan Mai (yet another labelmate), Adam kindly invited me to come up with the goods for a new Lyon Apprentice song, "Alice".

Inspired by the very personal story behind the song, I decided to incorporate my own family heirloom, a WWII RAF Bathtub Morse Key which belonged to my grandfather. These Bakelite morse keys were developed for use on planes such as the Lancaster Bombers flown by Alice's husband.
